Where the Three Main Components of Children's Literature Today Network.

I'm so excited that this coming Friday, 30th April, I will be a guest on the 'Wild About Pets' radio show, on TalkZone.com Radio hosted by Susan Franks. I'll be talking about my award winning book, Tilly's Tale and how I came to be writing the series of books under the collective title 'Harry Porter's Dog Tales, as well as talking with Susan about my life with my 14 rescued dogs. I do hope some of you will be able to tune in and… Continue Posted by Harry Porter on April 28, 2010 at 1:05pm

Tilly, my lovely little rescued dog, is 6 years old today. Me and all the pack want to wish her a very happy birthday. She'll be going for a nice long walk and a run on her favourite field this morning, where she can play with her tennis ball and play chase with the other dogs, her favourite game. Since her book, Tilly's Tale, was launched, Tilly has made so many friends around the world and has already received a number of… Continue Posted by Harry Porter on April 14, 2010 at 3:21am
I'm really thrilled to have been contacted by Susan Frank, the host of the Wild About Pets Radio Show, who was interested in doing a feature on Tilly's Tale, and, following discussions with her, I've agreed to do an interview with her on her show on 30th April at Noon, CST. I'll be talking about Tilly's Tale of course, and also my other dogs. What makes this so exciting is that the show will go out live, and will interact with the… Continue Posted by Harry Porter on March 30, 2010 at 6:12am
It's so nice that Tilly's blog, http://tillyrescuedog.blogspot.com/ has received a Sunshine Award, awarded by fellow blogger SammysStory It's nothing grand, just a little award that bloggers can hand out to 12 fellow bloggers whose blogs bring a little sunshine into their lives. Once the award is accepted, you can then give out 12 sunshine awards of your own to those you feel deserve… Continue Posted by Harry Porter on March 23, 2010 at 11:16am

Written under my Harry Porter pseudonym, and released by 4RV Publishing, Alistair the Alligator, aimed at young and early readers tells the story of a young, toothless alligator, desperate to find something, (or someone) he can eat. Poor Alistair, everything he tries either falls out of his mouth, or simply slips through his bottom lip. In his search for something tasty to satisfy his hunger, Alistair meets and is befriended by a most unusual ally. This story was originally written… Continue Posted by Harry Porter on February 26, 2010 at 8:30am

'Tilly's Tale' has already received some wonderful reviews in addition to it's two awards, but the latest one is, I have to say, truly fantastic. I'm so pleased that people are seeing Tilly's story in the way it was designed to be seen and that they believe it can have a positive effect on people's attitudes (and children's in particular), towards dog abuse and neglect. If Tilly's Tale can help just a few dogs to find new homes and raise awareness in people of the need to take good… Continue Posted by Harry Porter on February 4, 2010 at 6:00am
I'm so pleased that Tilly's Tale, having won the Best Children's Book award and the best Artwork Award in the P & E Polls, continues to delight its readers. This is the latest great review to appear on the site of Amazon.co.ukPosted by Harry Porter on February 1, 2010 at 5:04pm

Hot on the heels of 'Tilly's Tale' I'm over the moon to be able to announce that 4RV Publishing have released my young children's book, 'Alistair the Alligator'. Designed to appeal to a younger age bracket the story tells of Alistair a poor young alligator with one serious problem: he has no teeth! Try as he might, everything he tries to eat either escapes, or simply falls from his mouth as he closes his toothless jaws. Beautifully illustrated in stunning and vibrant color by Amanda… Continue Posted by Harry Porter on January 26, 2010 at 5:30am — 2 Comments
