- I have written something most of my life. I found that writing fiction stories difficult because I have too much to say. I am a published author, and in late 2005 my first book came out: The Watermelon Patch. I have written newspaper articles, features, etc. too many to count, and have also published in magazines. I have been married to the same man for 53 years and we have three horses, two dogs, and eight cats (five live outside, however). I am currently writing about a mail order bride from Yugoslavia, which takes place in the late 1800's to early 1900's. Isurvived the Fernley flood and we are still trying to get back to some kind of semblance.
