- I am a nurse living in the sunny State of Florida. I have worked as a nurse for 29 years. I have had the pleasure of being exposed to working in my facets of the nursing profession that has given me such a sense of satisfaction in my career. Working in Open Heart, Emergency Nursing, Helicopter nursing, Trauma Intensive Care have all been truly an experience that keeps the adrenalin flowing. Now I am an Administrator of an Alzheimer's disease Care Center. Quite a difference from the action packed jobs that I had before. But these little people are so precious and need so much love, patience and understanding.
I have now started to write. I have always loved writing and I started out with writing poetry and won a couple of prizes here and there. Then with the inspiration of being a grandmother of 5 grandchildren, I have decided to write books for children.
Going to the bookstore and seeing all the children's books made me first think that there are so many children's books out there, how could I possibly get anyone interested in what I had to say.
Since I consider myself to be on the spiritual side, I decided to write Christian Children's stories and through a lot of painful experiences in the publishing world, I have finally published my first book. I think now I could write a book on all the do's and do not's in publishing a book, But is has had it rewarding moments and to finally hold one of books in your hand is like going through childbirth, It hurts, but that precious little one that you hold in your hands makes the pain worth it.
Plus, I have met so many nice people. I feel blessed.

Lady Flatterley
