I sent my childrens book manuscript to Mirror publishing without doing my homework first.
They want my manuscript, but I have to invest over $500.00 in purchasing my book to promote it...
This is what their website states:

I'd like to invite all of my friends to visit the personal blog of Tilly, the amazing little rescued dog whose very own book, 'Tilly's Tale' will shortly be released. Tilly's blog is a fun place where the antics and adventures of her and the other 8 dogs in her very own 'pack' of re…

Thought I'd post a couple of pictures of Sophie, a whippet/lurcher crossbreed, the latest addition to our home and who will eventually have her story told as one of Harry Porter's Dog tales. Sophie came from a rescue sanctuary after being found as a stray and handed over by the dog warden. She is a lucky girl as a lot of dogs in her predicament end up with a not so happy ending. We love her and think she's beautiful. I hope you agree.

My little crossbreed terrier Tilly, whose book Tilly's Tale will soon be released by 4RV Publishing under my 'Harry Porter' pseudonym, proved herself to be a real star last night. we were on the field near our home walking our dogs, when one of them was attacked by a vicious schnauzer who pinned him to the ground. In a flash, Tilly ran thirty yards and pounced on the attacker and pulled it away from Jarvis, who is 14 years old, almost blind and very deaf, and staying with us as a guest while his…

It can be difficult to motivate children to read during their summer vacation. Many kids drop the books the at the end of the school year and don’t pick them up again until school begins. Reading is too vital to let this happen. There are many books available in a variety of formats that will entice children to continue to read throughout the summer months.
There are many wonderful books that can be used in conjunction with vacation trips. This is a great way to help children make connections b…

When we sit down to write a letter or a memo we often have a hard time getting started. We hear of authors who go for years without writing another book because of writer's block. Then, what do teachers do? We ask our students to write to a prompt that they've never seen before. We then place time constraints on their writing. Then there are children who who have the ability to write but won't even witho…
