Well i just rec'd a rejection email from a literary agency. While disappointed at all of these rejection letters, I ask myself, how can I get my novels published traditionally and into the mainstream public's eye so that they will want to buy them, and read them.
What do people have against Siren's, Banshee's and Sasquatches anyway? They are people, beings too.
SO too are those with empathic gifts, psychic abilities that use their gift to help find lost souls. And Magic, traveling in time or ast…

Hi All,
well it has been a while since i updated this website so i thought, go ahead today and do it.
I am still trying to find a publisher, literary agent for both children's stories, (3-18), as well as the romance novels.
I have five completed romance novels, about 4 completed children's stories, including one where it's mainly the grandparents and grandkids.
The romance novels that i have completed, i feel are ready to be published but so far, two of them turned down by Avon Publisers, Harle…

I All, while i sit here trying to work on novels, i learned that landlord raised rent another $100 so its time to try to find a place to live, as i don't have funds to stay or to move for that matter, however, if i can find a place within HUD Guidelines and they accept HUD, then all i would need is $$ for application fee, deposit, truck, etc.
My story The Dragons of Myrrh did not win the L.Ron Hubbard writing contest which ended November 30. I don't have the funds to submit a story by the Decem…

HI I just want to make a few updates.
Several weeks ago i rec'd my manuscript "A Glimpse of Time" back from the LRon Hubbard, Writer's of the Future Contest. It did not win. I was surprise when they said in the letter that they look forward to my next entry. I am happy to say that i did manage to get one written and mailed to them before the Sept 30, 2008 deadline.
It is Titled the Dragons of Myrrh. It is a sci-fi romance, featuring of course dragons. I will be enlarging the story to make it fit…

I did hear back from Silhouette Nocturne, although they found my story "The Witch of His Dreams" appealing, they decided to pass.
"I did send to Silhouette Nocturne, the second manuscript in the series "A Siren's Fire", in that query…

I sent an email query a senior vice president of the hallmark channel to see if they
would like to use my manuscript "A Glimpse of Time" to make into a made for tv movie
featuring grandparents to air on Grandparents day which is September 7th this year. The grandparents wish for more time with the grandkids, as does one grandduaghter make a wish to be allowed to spend more time with her grandparents. They…

Hi all.. just to bring you all up to date on what i am doing.
I sent tonight an email query letter along with a synopsis and the first 50 pages of my story, A Child's Gift to a Soldier to an agent.
My fingers are crossed, my words seem a little numb. so i will take tonight off from writing.
but i have more stories to finish.
I do have a question though. when you submit a complete manuscript, do you also include things like a special thanks page, open letter from author page, and include a couple…

Hi all. I decided to name this self publishing Delimina's because i sit here, debating whether or not to just self-publish through either cafepress.com or lulu.com as i can't afford to pay to have it published. and do some marketing.
What i have done was to compile about 24/25 poems in a document that i titled
"Poems from the Hearth and Heart."
The poems range from being free, to spring, snow, hope, mom's, dads/fathers, kids, some poems that i wrote when i was nine, (i found them in an old bible…

Thanks for your comments.

HI all. I just thought i would share with you a Synopsis of a story that i have written after having dreamt it couple nights ago.
The title is "The Butterfly's Gift"
It is about a young boy named Chex, who is getting adopted by his dad. He remembers a message that his mom gave him before she died the year before.
The message being "if a butterfly comes near you and tilt it's wings to you" it is a message of love.
If a Butterfly comes and lands on your hand, shoulder, it is a message that "says…

Hi there, just a quick note to let you know. That Calderwoodbooks rejected my Gaia story as it is written. The person that critiqued it thought it was Preachy. And suggested that i make it into a thriller, like Death of the Earth or something.
I am not into horror-gore. However, i do have some ideas on how to enlarge the story while keeping the first 20 pages as a sort of prelude as to what maybe coming. Making it a positive story with the same human pitfalls, foilables, and sometimes lack of co…
