Publishing Quest Update

Hi I hope that everyone is enjoying the cooler weather. As well as enjoy the halloween season.
I did submit a short Halloween story to the children come first writing contest. I called it Halloween's Death Goes Walking.

It starts with "it was a dark and stormy night...." and the adventerous spirit of a young boy named Daniel.

Update on my other submissions to publishers/editors

silhouette Nocturne decides to pass on "A Siren's Fire" they stated while appealing, it did not quite fit for what they are lookin for.

Dorchester Publishing has passed on "THe Witch of His Dreams" and "A Siren's Fire," stating they had stronger plots than those two manuscripts. Well i admit i need an editor to go over them, still i thought it was worth a shot.

So I sent to Kensington Publishers and HQN books queries to see if they would be interested in the series, two of which are complete. That was earlier this month of October.

So i am not giving up, and i still keep submitting some short stories to the www.childrencomefirst.com writing contest. However, I have not heard anything about my submissions for the months of August-October. I guess they are way behind.

I am getting excited about my new manuscripts that i have been writing, Scent of a Wolf, and Mystic Warrior", besides a few more that i have started.
Now to get the computer fixed to finish typing them.
