My Craft :
I write poetry, short storys , I have a couple of novels waiting for major edits. I have a one script. I have written a few essays for Helium;
About Me:
I don’t give up easily. Writing has been my path …forever.

I wandered off that course for years stumbling through the underbrush until I ran into a tree branch. Which rendered me unconscious; when I awoke I knew I had taken a wrong turn.

Never again will I listen to those that speak the words laced with the impossible and not profitable. I need to finally be myself. And that person is a writer.

“Bearded Iris on Black”

I tried to add the poem to the front of this site. It didn't come out very clear.. I wrote it for an unfinished piece of art work. “Bearded Iris on Black” By Gerardine Baugh©4/7/2008 The Bearded Iris on Black Intermingled with deep, dark shades of blue and purple, Sky bright coalesce with the sweetest of rose subtle soft, white, golden yellow blood red, vivid fuzzy bearded orange Veins spread downward along the inflorescence fall of petals fanning outward… Trailing the eye to sweep the richne… Continue

Advertising & Selling Option... Looking for Feedback.

I am considering starting to sell book shorts (just like Amazon does) from our network.

At the moment though, we would have an advantage since Amazon is not accepting submissions right now for any new shorts.

There is a fee for this service, I would be charged monthly for the right to sell books (or anything I like) from the right column of the site.

This could be a great opportunity for anyone who wants to sell their short stories for .50 each (again just like Amazon does) in a PDF format (which I can either do for you or you can provide to me pre-formatted for placement.

Advertising your book in this way could help land a publishing contract (by showing proof of sales & marketability of your book), help promote a larger version of your book or even a book series (make a good excerpt or even chapter one a short to entice readers into buying your book), help to bring in revenue for your book to put towards your goals (whether that is self-publishing, subsidy/co-op or promoting a book tour for your traditionally published book).

The possibilities seem endless.

Again I will use Amazon as an example, $.20 of the $.50 goes to the submitter (proof of copyright would need to be shown me if you are not the author before I can place it).

The remaining $.30 will go toward the PayPal percentage & the monthly fee that will be coming from my (WillowRaven's) pocket.

If advertised by you, the submitters, just like you would advertise anyway for your book... this could be ideal... ads that pay you rather than you paying for your ads.

Eventually we can get our own domain & no longer be considered a "ning", and we can pay for a larger bandwidth & more storage capacity.

So my question is, who would be interested?

Let me know in my page somehow...
